EDTA

Edta is used to remove the grease coat from the canal walls. The canal wall is etched by the liquid. You should rinse at least 1 minute.


Prescription EDTA:

R/Dinatrium EDTA 170g
Aqua destilatac ad 1000ml
5n NaOH


This is a buffered EDTA solution 17%
(neutralize with NaOH till pH 7 (5 normal = mol/liter))
Otherwise it precipitates.
