About Endoplaza

This site has been developed by two dentists having a more than extraordinary interest in endodontics for years.

An illustration of this is the fact that they have been working with an operating microscope since its introduction in the Netherlands (1996).

Since 1998, they organise clinical evenings, lectures and courses (see: www.beterlichtenzicht.nl) about the operating microscope in dental surgery. Needless to say during these meetings the emphasis lies on endodontics.

A considerable number of endodontic issues are coming up for discussion in those courses. After the courses, both dentists are regularly approached to give information about a certain endodontic problem or about the instruments/apparatus/medicines to be used.

As the number of questions steadily increased, the need arose to refer to something in which endodontics was explained in a clear and practical manner.

When it became clear that such a source of information was not available, they decided to build an endodontic website themselves, in which almost all information about endodontics is readily accessible in a reader-friendly manner.

Now that the website is approaching its completion (it will never be fully completed; update will always be necessary), more and more questions reach the developers:

  • should the Dutch and foreign courses be placed
  • can second hand dental instruments be bought/sold (Marketplaza)
  • should the website also be translated into English (internalisation)
  • is the Forum clear enough
  • should subfields like endodontic (micro) surgery also be included
  • are there important items which have been forgotten

The producers will gladly consider all remarks/criticism/improvements which they hope to receive.

We wish you a pleasant reading of the website and we greatly appreciate that you consult any endodontic matter with us.
